Carousel Plant for the production of turnout bearers
The carousel technology can be also used for the production of turnout bearers that are used in railroad switches (or turnouts).
Bearers produced through our technology can be cast and cured in 2-gang or 4-gang moulds and can be both pre-tensioned and post-tensioned. The length of bearers produced through our machines goes from 2.20 meters up to 6.80 meters.
As in the case of sleepers, bearer quality controls are in accordance with EN 12230 or AREMA standards.
